200mph Drag Race: Porsche GT2 RS v. Ducati 1199 Panigale - /CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Last time, on the drag strip, the Porsche was destroyed. This time we went to a 2 mile runway to see what happens when you let a GT2 RS stretch beyond 150mph. No bikers were hurt in the making of this film. Part I: http://youtu.be/_zb1j8FmW74

try it with this year's Superleggera (Project 1408) bike.

Ohh come on there is a speed limiter on the ducati
-
who you talking mr russian? go and get a life cock sucker effing idiot
-
I don't understand why all the bitching from the motorcyclists?! The bike won, wtf?! Just because the Porsche had a little victory because the bike was limited, in the end the Panigale obviously won.
I never knew that there were so many crying bitchy cunts on motorcycles, I always thought that specific set of "qualities" were reserved to bicyclists. -
AMS NISSAN GTR BRING ANY BIKE YOU WANT BIKE LOVERS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS

As a die-hard Porsche fan and a motorcyclist, there's just nothing bad about this video in any way.
-
Real world acceleration is all about 0-40mph in town, 30-60mph on country lanes and 60-90mph on A roads.
180-200mph will land you in prison.
Riding a bike close to its limits takes much more skill than in a car (where ABS and Traction Control can make even an average driver look like they are in control). Bikes are so unforgiving that you need to get it perfect or you'll be eating hospital food.
For instance you may see Guy Martin driving a car around a race track but you're unlikely ever to see David Couthard riding a bike around the TT course.
I miss my bike's 30-60mph grunt but I enjoy the stereo in my car, especially when it's raining. -
Imagine if bikes weren't limited at top speed
-
the Porsche is nothing compared to the Ducati 1199 Panigale

That is a pretty lame video and the man driving the car had to manipulate the circumstances until he got a win against the bike. Even on a 2 mile runway from a standing start the Porsche doesn't have a chance so they have to do a rolling start to avoid 'wrecking the gearbox'. Then the big 'car wins' stamp comes up on screen. I love bikes and cars and recognize the different strengths and weaknesses of each but this a hollow, manipulated victory for the car. Good job.

S1000rr would of whooped both
-
lol you only win because the bike doesnt have the same top speed.. sorry porsche you lose
-
which at that point u have wasted ur moneu
-
and any every day street race will not be that long meaning bikes win all day unless u got som crazy 1500 hp supra
-
yeah i want to see that car go against a 1400cc bike
-
Put that Porsche against the D16 RR I don't think it would be able to catch it
-
Bikes > cars. Always.
-
Bikes always piss over cars, it's just the way it is Power to weight ratio!!
-
