Very interesting story about Yoshimura! It just goes to show you how companies need to take care of their good employees. I had a similar (although not nearly as dramatic story) as Yoshimura. I started out with a big company and did very well but they cut back and let me go so I got an offer from their main competitor and brought my market's marketshare from 3% to an unprecedented 54%. Sadly, a new contractor came in and ruined everything so now I'm looking for another job yet again...

lesson learned..if you have an employee that seems, unbelievably talented, never ever ever let that person go...goes without saying if you ask me

Many thanks for the upload, Boris. I love this series.

Someone whos been to Japan please tell me. Do they really deliver noodles in a freakin bowl, no recyclable containers...WITH LIDS? -
As an avid motorcyclist for over 35 years, I still found great information and never before seen footage.
Thank you -
Hi Boris..... my first motobike was a 305 red honda dream in 1967 while an army soldier in Louisiana (ft polk)... my bike was the only one that ALWAYS started.. it had an electric starter.... the other guys teased me (they had harleys and bsa 441 victors)... great bikes but not as reliable as my dream!!! thanks for the good work...

Damn. I was hoping to learn more of the biker gangs in Japan.

The Dream E type looks just like what CZ did in the 30's and 40's.
Also check Jawa, exported hundreds of thousands of bikes all over the world.
And MZ invented expansion chamber exhausts for two stroke engines.
Also check 1965 CZ500 V4 Type 860, the very first V4 four stroke motorcycle engine. -

Honda CB 750. If anything you can call "The top of the classic", this would be it.
In the beginning, it wasn't available for the domestic market(to Japanese) but only for the export and for GIs staying military bases in Japan. It wasn't often Japanese guys get to see it in person but whenever they did, they were drooling all over it whispering to each other, "Look at that!"
I don't know it was purposely planned as a marketing hype or not but once it became available to buy, the guys would throw money to get it if they could find one. -
i wanted to see Peter do a wheelie at the end!!
-
Finally. The dubbing corrected. Thanks.
-
Thanyou. I've only found this in a bad over-dub form... At last a chance to see it properly :D
