Last week Giant unveiled its 2012 road bike lineup at a global media event in Mallorca, Spain. Reporters from major cycling publications around the world were granted a sneak peek at Giant's exciting new products and technologies, including the TCR Advanced SL bikes that will be ridden by the Rabobank Team at the upcoming Tour de France. Giant also showed off its all-new Defy/Avail range of endurance road bikes, along with the new OverDrive 2 steerer-tube technology and WheelSystems. After learning about all the new products, reporters had a chance to test everything out in one of the world's most spectacular road riding locales. Here's a peek at Giant's 2012 Global Road Media Camp.

Song is some kind of remix of Carlo Domeniconi's Koyunbaba op.19, but I can't find it anywhere. You can hear covers of the original all over YouTube. If anyone finds the remix from this video let me know... be keen to get it downloaded!

Totally enjoyed the video and the music. Who is making the music? Excellent fit for the slide show. Just picked up my new Defy Advanced SL 0 as of today, what a sweet cycling machine. Silky smooth and very responsive when jamming the pedals.

I think the new Defy looks great. I'd have to get the alum version though. I'm 250lbs right now and even if I got down to the 220s I'd still be too heavy for a carbon fiber bike. I'll stick to my Giant TCX2 and Surly LHT for another year. Then maybe ill take the plunge on a defy with the 105 set. I luv Giant bikes!
