Test Riding a 2014 GT Fury! This is me Downhill Mountain biking at Whistler! I am riding a pretty fun line: Ninja Cougar, Fade To Black, Karate Monkey, and Samurai Pizza Cat. These are really fun DH trails at the Whistler Bike Park! I was in Whistler during Crankworx for 4 days and I rode every day that I was there. In this video I am riding the 2014 GT Fury because I was able to try out bikes from companies during Crankworx! This bike was really worn out though, the back tire was pretty much bald so I didn't have as much grip. http://www.facebook.com/jordanolthuismtbvideo This was filmed in August, 2013. This video was filmed with a GoPro HD Hero 3 Black Edition I used the 1080 resolution at the wide field of view at 60fps to record this. ******In order to capture the audio that you hear in this video, I put my Zoom H1 digital audio recorder in my back pocket, I had it on a manual volume set at 30, and the low cut filter on to take away some wind noise and distortion when I land jumps. I had to edit the audio in adobe premiere though, raising the volume on everywhere except not as much on the landings, (those were the loudest parts and they would get distorted if I raised the volume much more). And eliminating some wind noises by using a highpass filter.******* Please Comment, and give a thumbs up to support mountain biking videos! Sweet vid man! That bike sounded clapped out and you said it was pretty much worn out and that explains all of those sounds that sounded like it was about to fall apart. I don't DH but like to charge on some of the descents around on our trails but neck and back injuries hold me back but hey as long as I'm having fun that's what matters. Thank for sharing this it was cool and a nice look at the trails too!
