2016 Diamondback Overdrive Hardtail Mountain Bikes
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
The Overdrive is one of our longest running bike series at Diamondback. These bikes have become favorites of a wide range of our customers due to their simplicity, reliability, and performance. Their 27.5" tires deliver a great blend of traction and agility, with plush suspension forks smoothing out the trail. Designed to be ridden on fast rolling terrain, the Overdrives are great for the hardtail aficionado and those who are just starting out on dirt. Check out the line in this short overview video, and we'll see you on the trail!

I love the overdrive series

Should I get the overdrive comp or the apex elite

My opinion on Overdrives
Pros: Nice design, decent specs for the money and loads of models with 29er wheels
Cons: Really heavy, terrible saddle
The Overdrive Comp often does not even feature an air fork anymore. So you may as well go for a better mountain bike with an air fork once you approach that price range. The Overdrive Sport is probably best then if you get it for a good price.
But in my opinion loads of manufacturers make better bikes than Diamondbacks. -
Almost got an Overdrive but then did more research and got a Release.
I fucking love it. Diamondback rocks! -
Does the overdrive pro's rear derailleur have a clutch?
-
Dumb question: Would this bike be okay if I used it for just riding around the neighborhood and not really using it like a mountain bike should be used?

"Hard tails have been around since the late 1800's"
