We are very excited to get our hands on these machines and put them to the test. This is huge for the off road riding world because it means we are getting more choices! We hope Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki will take note and follow suit. https://twitter.com/dirtbikechannel https://www.facebook.com/dirtbikechannel https://instagram.com/dirtbikechannel/

Six minutes of absolutely nothing worth watching. How do you talk so long about 30 seconds of material?

hi
-
these bikes are actually light. the weight listed is wet weight, one gallon of gas is 6 lbs, so 229 minus 12 is a 217lb dry weight. to put that in comparison to the beta 300rr 250rr they have a dry weight of 224lbs and the ktm 250xc and 300xchas a dry weight of 220lbs. So the yamaha is the lightest in that class.

Japanese idiot they copy everything from europe
-
There's no way that graham Jarvis would switch to that it probly doesn't have a strong engine with low end power
-
That thing look so crap just saying and the pipe is so cheap
-
how often do i have to rebuild a 2016 yamaha yz250x 2 stroke
-
are you going to do a riding reveiw on this bike im about to go buy one on tuesday and would love to see a review on it
-

-
have you actually done an off road test of the YZ250X? my race season Is over and I'm looking for something new. the KX 450F is just too stiff for the desert here in AZ(ROCKS)..... IF SO I'd like to check it out.

closed or open airbox??
-
The bikes like the kx 500 cr 500 and the yz490
-
I love the yz250fx it is super smooth in the trails the suspension is a little stiff stock in the rear it does a great job at going over logs overall I think it is a great bike if you are looking for a four-stroke harescramble race bike I recommend it
-
I wish they would make a yz85x

I want the other manufacturers to come out with their own "X" models solely to keep competition going between them. The more competition there is between manufacturers, generally the better the choices for us as riders, and the prices tend to stay reasonable to stay competitive.

This appears to just be a polished POS. You start comparing to the Beta 300 and the KTM 300 and the is absolutely no comparison. Its like Yamaha just had some extra parts laying around and wanting something else in the catalog. Should have been a little more critical in your video. Unless you want to trade your KTm 300 for this..... lol thought not.

Perhaps in 2017 they'll offer the 1st fuel injected YZ250X and it will have all the off road stuff we see on Husqvarna, Beta, Sherco, and KTM. Then they can take that up one more notch and offer it in a 350cc or larger version (2 stroke!) Then (I'm dreaming big now!!) in 2018 Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Honda will take notice and follow suit....that would really be something, the RETURN of the 2 STROKE : )'

What? A WR can be a race bike, I've seen more then a few on the line at xc races. For a C rider like myself I liked my WR450. You do have to get it unrestricted, because they are useless off the showroom floor. Only downside is they are heavy and the electric start never lasted long if you are using it frequently on the trail.

I was looking into getting a new bike, idk when but, idk what to choose I was going to stick with two stroke because I love them, and I've tried four strokes but never liked them. I was thinking of either a yamaha or ktm 250 two stroke, and I know ktm's are more expensive, and I wanted to know if I bought the motocross version of either a yamaha or ktm would it make a big difference over the new x line from yamaha or the xc from ktm

Then theres suzuki still the same 250 and 450
