2016 Yeti SB6 Carbon X01 MTB Test Ride
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Check it out at Backcountry: http://bit.ly/2dHhNdA I rode the Yeti SB6 Carbon X01 mountain bike during a demo day this weekend in Fairfax, California, put on by Big Swingin Cycles from San Francisco. I rode from the Marin Bicycle Museum up to Camp Tamarancho and had a fun time on this bike. I have the Yeti SB66 carbon and it's similar, but different. My mountain bike has a 3x10 drivetrain, where this SB6 has a 1x11. My bike has 26" wheels, this one has 27.5" wheels. The wide handlebars felt good but it would take a bit to get used to them getting oh so close to trees. SRAM brakes are different than what I'm used to but by the end of the ride I was feeling confident with them. This is the best bike I've ever ridden, but isn't that always the case with the latest and greatest gear? My video gear: http://bit.ly/bkxcgear

Hi Man, I like seeing your videos but I have one question ; why are you not putting your thumb underneath the grips, especially on the descents? It is so dangerous, you can slip off the grips and have a nasty crash!
-
So my next bike will either be the Yeti SB6 or the s work enduro. what did you prefer?
-
this guy rocks but I'm afraid he's gunna do a super man over the bars without his cape. ..he is living the dream though lol
-
What's with the suicide grip on the bars????? It is terrifying to watch you ride like this!!!
-
Comparing this videos with the newer ones looks like you are getting better on the trails.
What bar size you are used to? -
Brian is this still the best bike you have ever riden?
-
which do you think is a better all round bike the yeti sb5c or the yeti sb6
-
I've noticed, just recently (been watching your videos for a while), that when you're down hill riding or on flats you don't have your thumbs under the handles you have thumbs and fingers over the top of the handles. Why do you ride like that?
-
This or the 2017 spesh enduro S works?
-
That is not a cross country bike!!
-
Why do you sort of cup the handle bars rather than wrapping you thumbs around them?
-
i have shimano shifters as well but i up shift using my thumb (the sram way) so if i do ride a different bike that has sram it feel more normal.
-
Not sure if you will see this before tomorrow but do you have a copy of the loop you rode? Thinking about checking driving down there tomorrow.
-
Damn i love yeti's paint jobs
-
Hey Brian can you comment about how it fits you? What size is the bike and what's your height
-
Great riding 👍
-
Hi, really like your videos btw, keep it up : ). I notice that you ride with your thumbs on top of the bar. does give you more or less grip or is there another reason that you do this?
-
What do u think about the sb5 compare to the sb6 for the type of riding u do
-
I test rode this bike last month when I visited Seattle and this Yeti is a monster! Enduro bike that can climb efficiently and so nimble on tight corners even on fun flowy single track. Now I have to choose between this or the Ibis MOJO HD3.

I had to force myself not to look at your hands- good thing you lost that habit eventually =D
Still a great video, though ;-)
