Like all bikes in the latest Xtrada range, the Xtrada 6 now has 120 millimetres of travel on the front fork. The Suntour XCR fork on this bike however also features larger diameter 32 millimetre stanchions combined with magnesium lowers, which dramatically reduces the front end weight of the bike, this keeps the bike more balanced on drop offs and whilst cornering. . Front end performance is increased again with the additional of a rebound adjustment. This allows you to control how quickly the fork returns to the neutral position – extremely important to maintain traction on fast descents. The high end Shimano Deore trigger shifters and derailleurs will effortlessly click and push the chain up and down the massive 30 speed drivetrain. The 10 speed cassette features Shimano’s dynasys system which ensure perfect shifting even whilst underload. Should you ever want to upgrade, the bike is also future proofed and will easily accept a 1x or 2x upgrade. When the time comes to slow the bike down, you'll be relieved to see the Shimano M355 Hydraulic Disc Brakes equipped on this bike. The M355 setup comes with a lighter aluminium lever, improved braking performance and quick & clean bleeding. Entity have also improved their offering on the Xtrada 6 with lighter and stiffer components to ensure you have the maximum control at all times. Whilst the Xtrada 6 certainly has all the off road credentials, it has not compromised around town, and throw on a pair of slick tyres can also be used as an efficient commuter.
