2017 Santa Cruz Bronson Test Ride & Review
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
An in-depth first look and test ride of the 2017 Santa Cruz Bronson. This bike is built to do it all and then some. If you wan't a bike that can hammer the bike park, rail down even the rowdiest single track and still peddles incredibly well.... this might be your next bike. Pretty views of that valley at the beginning. You need to come down to Hurricane and ride the festival with us this March.

Love how these bikes climb.

Strange question but what Five Ten shoes are those? They look like Freerider Contacts, but never seen that colorway.

That was an awesome ride..Just seeking some opinion here on choosing for my next bike..currently I got a tallboy 2 (Medium), its really a great bike to ride specially on long climbs, but I feel like I need to upgrade to ride more aggressive and rougher trails but I dont want to loose my confidence in riding uphill. As I notice in my rides I always tend to move a bit forward so that Im exactly/directly on top of the pedal whenever Im pedalling on a steep uphill (tallboy has slacker seat tube angle). I noticed the geometry of the most new bikes today, they are all having steeper seat tube angle for a more aggressive pedalling which I definitely like, like specialized enduro and I think its seat tube is steeper than the the bronzon 2017. So how do you think the s. enduro climbs compare to bronzon (Im assuming here that youve already ridden the enduro), how well the broson handle long uphill as it has a slacker seat tube angle compare to other AM bikes today. I'm 5'10", I feel that my medium tallboy 2 is quite small for me, and I understand now the new SC frames has a longer top tube. So the bikes that Im considering are Bronson, S. Enduro, Canyon Strive, RMSlayer and the Intense. I would be so if you could give me you thoughts. Here in my place we dont have that much opportunity to test ride those bikes...THanks

Ive just ordered the 2017 Nomad cc with XT build. Had the 2016 Bronson and loved it but fancied a little more travel.

Love the videos man! Looking to purchase my first full suspension bike. Rode BMX for years and have been itching to get back on a bike in some way ever since. This video has me sold on the Bronson for sure. As long as it can climb well in addition to bombing down the trails then I'll be happy.

What was the tire setup on the bike, looks like SS Minions in the back.. was that HighRollers in the front?

I am looking at getting back into mountain biking, haven't done much since high school, I am 34 and ride a Gary Fischer hard tail now. I have been looking at the Trek Remedy 8 and now the Bronson. I will be doing most of my riding in Copper Harbor Michigan. There are videos on here with different trails if you want to see what it is like there. Anyways I am leaning towards the Aluminum frame for now since I do not think I need carbon yet. I am up in the air now with what bike to get because you said the Bronson likes to be rode fast, just don't know how fast I will be going right away so just wondering if maybe the Remedy 8 might be better suited for me. Bike shops I talked to around there said to stick around that 150mm of travel. I am not a small person 6'3" 270lbs, if that helps. Thanks.

Love your vids, great riding and really helpful to understand how bikes differ. For me it's Bronson or YT Capra. Do you plan to ride a Capra as well? Thanks
