I have a Foes Alpine Plus. I have the same problem with the front end. I think the plus tire lets loose unexpectedly. Great reviews! Good job!

Great video. Thanks for putting it out there. Those trails are sweet! Where do you ride?
-
Can you please test the 2017 Yeti SB5+
-
You were definitely faster on the 29er version.

Nice vid with good commentary & solid riding. Where's the trail?

Your killing the reviews man, love it! 👍👍👍

Do you prefer the HT 27.5+ or the Ibis mojo 3? Great video/review by the way - enjoyed !

Nice 👍 review I'm a liking that 27.5 plus , you did mention the sram a 50 cassette for climbing,I think shimano has been a little smarter than sram with a 46 rear cassette, l wish sram would offer the same opinion for their current 11 group sets atb steve

What tire pressure were you running with? I'm 220lbs and run with 25psi. (same bike)

I just subscribed to your channel. Your videos are well narrated and stuff. As an owner of a 2016 Spesh Stumpy FSR Expert 6 Fattie, you really need to throw these 27.5+ tire bikes side to side for them to be snappy. The traction is there. As you said, you are afforded so much traction when riding uphill. My bike likes going downhill on tech terrain but the front wheel is on the lighter side so I plan on placing a lead weight towards the head tube to solve the problem. Thx for the reviews.

I've got the same bike & I love the confidence it brings me. The tyres grip like you're on rails & the climbing is brilliant. Thanks for the videos

Amazing review, I love it when people just get out and ride. Forget the specs and pick the bike that fits you best!

Any ETA on the Tallboy 27.5 Plus? I am curious what you think between the Tallboy+ and HT+

I liked the review! I rode this bike at Cyclofest in NC and the Hightower 27.5+ was not a good bike for those trails, think: quick punchy climbs and tight and twisty single track. It just takes forever to get those plus sized tires moving. It was really planted on longer downhills and lumbered up longer more gradual climbs just fine.

Great review! Ok, probably not a normal ? But, I am 56 and have bad neck discs. I want the most comfortable mountain bike I can find. Plus, I like to climb, and since I can't afford real hard falls cause of the neck, I still like to get going on the down, but not a full rip. Then, my other easy riding is on gravel. I live at lake Tahoe and ride mostly around here. Do yo think the 27.5 would be better for me or would you suggest 29?

You should do a collab with BKXC and Single Track Sampler. Both are great channels. Keep it up!!
By the way, I have the 27.5+ Hightower and it's the best bike I have owned. -
Just wanted to say that you put out great content and am really excited to see where you take this channel!

I just converted my hardtail 29er into a 27.5+ with 3" rubber.... being in the "beginner to intermediate" skill level, I find that the PLUS size gives TONS of confidence.
although I'd LOVE to pickup a full suspension plus bike...
I AM very curious to see if they'll so a 26PLUS (with a virtual diameter of regular 27.5)... that way you could do 2 bikes: 27.5 and 26+ (if you prefer the advantages of 27.5 over 29r) -
Brilliant videos. Great info. Really love your channel watch all your videos. It would be great if you could review a bronson, nomad or 5010 but the base model and tell us your thoughts? Like an alloy model with the base kit on it to see how it compares. Not everyone can afford £5k on bike but I wondered if the base model was worth it. Thanks man

Glad you got the 27.5+ review on the HT close to the time you rode the 29'r HT. My LBS told me that the HT with the plus size wheels actually weigh less than the 29'r setup. Is that true? Sounds like you had to manhandle the plus bike a bit more and that would suggest added rotational weight I think.
