3 Bikes Crash on Group Ride - Sydneys Riders

3 bikes crashed on our monthly Sydneys Riders group ride. This time we were on our way to the Jenolan Caves, west of Sydney. The first 2 crashes happened together; a Yamaha R15 slammed straight into a concrete barrier, and the other bike followed him. The second crash (Yamaha R1) happened about 30 minutes later, on a long sweeping curve. Fortunately none of the riders were seriously injured. This video is a reminder that we need to be extra careful when riding in groups. Filmed near Sydney, Australia, on a 2012 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.

group rides supposed to be fun thats why you go with friends. don't be silly and don't try to show off to your group that you can do this you can do that! next thing they will stop for your nonsense doing because your injured! don't be a dick! enjoy the moment and respect the road. ride safe guys!

"Its a pretty sharp corner after a long straight", as a bike rider dont you notice thoose yellow signs with arrows or does the mentalaty and in "the flow" make you miss them? Now no hate im actually interested in the answer. :s

So many crashes at that bend on Mount Victoria. I wrote my car off at the corner just before this one, cleaned up the speed ramp sign.
Always take it easy down there now. -

Did that last bloke not wear gloves?! Always wear your gear even if it is hot. I'd rather be sweating on the inside than bleeding on the outside.

I'll drive slowly I'm not looking to spend the rest of the evening in the hospital and a totaled bike.

i'm looking at the road, easy to see why a newbie or someone who wasn't paying attention or someone riding past their ability might cause a crash.
i like a black bike, can't stand a black car. -
This is why I never go on group rides as this always seems to happen. Doesn't help they are wearing jeans either.

Those cats really trashed those pieces of crap! They must ride like freaking maniacs in Oz. It's no wonder they crashed. They ride on the wrong side of the road. I can't believe they got the Goose!

Well as always it is the motorcycle riders fault.
Maybe now it is time for a Certified Motorcycle Safety School. -

This is why I don't do group rides. Fucking hell, you might think 99% of riders shouldn't actually be riding motorbikes because they're fucking idiots... Hmm...
