While inward bikes in MK8 are at a disadvantage compared to outward vehicles, they're at less of a disadvantage on 200cc because fire-hopping is useless. The inwards can't hop to turn like the outwards, so they have a harder time recovering from driving mistakes, and have to brake more often. Inwards are fun to use from time to time. A lot of the strats with outwards are similar for inwards, so if you're learning to use inwards, drive like the outwards, and adjust where needed!
