Dude I'm 5'9(176cm) and I ride a R6 pretty fucking easily
-
Steering stabilizer, one of the most beneficial investments.
-
kind of a noob point of view.
-
talking bikes in general not your experience with your specific bike.
-
Red one what if your 6"2. What size of motorcycle should I get.
-
I ride only liter bikes, but seriously have been thinking about going backwards and getting a 600, I used to always ride small two strokes RZ and RD and jts a fun challenge to keep the bike momentum going in canyons etc. I just cant figure out which one to get damnit!!, Prolly Gixxer but I swore id never get a gixxer, but damn they got it all these days

I've got an R1 and I'm able to whip that thing around way easier than I ever was on my old Ninja 650

welcome to the 1000cc world !!! once you go 1000's you never will go back to 600's

I'd say that steering is not dependent on the motor (600 Vs 1000) but more dependent on the geometry of the frame and forks and then on the weight of the bike. My S1000RR rides like a 600 because the weight is around that of most 600's BUT you also have the grunt/torque of the monster engine and the magic electronic controlled suspension. It's a nibble beast that's super refined.
The GSX-R you're riding is older-technology. A nice bike for sure but I wouldn't use it as a benchmark between riding an R6 and a 1000cc bike. The R6 is about as good as the 600cc class gets but it's only about 10lbs lighter (430ish Vs 440 and change) than the S1000RR in stock trim. Get a S1000RR with forged aluminum wheels and you're basically the same weight. -
I wish a crip saw you

your a fucking squid
-
also gsxrs are known for their flat torque curve starting around 6000 rpm

on a 1000 you have to keep the frot tire new.. when the tires get flat spots on the middle they don't like to to turn in. new rubber completely changes the handling. its heavier so theres more stress on tires.. gotta change every season. on new tires it'll handle more like a 600
