A Bicycle's Point Of View- Bicycle Commuting 101
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
In this video I explain some of the fundamental things you will need if you decide to commute by bicycle. Bicycle commuting is a fun option for the time constrained cyclist who needs a workout in between errands. Dedicated bicycle commuters save around $600 to $800 a month in vehicle expenses. That's about 9 to 10k a year. Bicycle commuting is a great way to get in shape and get to where you need to go at the same time. Do you use that bike for commuting? Where are the mudguards? Where are the side reflectants? MTB is not a good choice ;)

I sometimes use the Master Lock 8122D combination cable lock, which is light and easy to transport. I only use it when I park the bike for a short period of time, and the bike will always be in my line of sight. I have found the lightest and most convenient cable locks are the ones that include a combination lock, which is permanently attached to one end of the cable, and the cable will self coil, so the lock doesn't take up much room. However, cable locks offer the lowest security, so you need to be careful when using them.

Very nice video. :) We should get MORE of these educational videos about bicycle commuting. People may think that bicycle are not a serious mode of transportation but may I remind you that when all of the fossil fuels dry up...everyone will end up using a bicycle in the end.

An even better safety vest is Class 3 vests that have short-sleeves. High-speed-zone construction workers are required to wear them.
Thanks for getting the message out. -
