Evey year high in the Sierras in the small town of Downieville hundreds of riders gather for the unofficial trail bike world championship. A true test of one's rider prowess the race equally test fitness and skill on the bike. But more than a race it is a way of life. Most riders are not paid professionals but just everyday riders with a passion for mountain biking and desire to see who is the fastest amongst their friends.
