Europe lookin more like china & china lookin more like Europe???
-
What a problem to have. In the US we have too many cars and even more idiots inside them.
-
Just i compare a car park and bicycle park, and think ho many bicycles could park in a 1/4 of the area of a car park. Bicycle is the most efficient vehicle man could ever invented.
-
Why can't we have THIS problem in America?!
-
It's a much better problem to have than car congestion. I would say that $135 million is a pittance for the value gained by encouraging so much green transportation in such a beautiful city.

You gotta love these people! They really dedicate themselves to being a civilized society! Unlike the most of the world these days!
-
taxes pay for infrastructure and public services it is the government's job to allocate appropriate funding.
-
Cyclists should pay for their own infrastructure. Just as gas taxes should pay for roads, bike licenses should pay for bike lanes and bike parking facilities. It is unfair to force others to pay for your transportation needs via income, property or sales taxes.

The European Union is the best place on earth, and this just reaffirms it. Now we just need to officially become a country! One day :)
-
less carbon in air and less fat in body. only if this trend was expanded to other countries.
-
Much to admire in that city.
-
How fantastic is that

bikes can be parked much more densely than cars, so it really shouldnt be a big problem. a place to put 50 cars is huge compared for a place to put 50 bikes. Its just, when people build, they build parking space for cars but forget the bikes.
-
Because cyclists really "obey" the laws in Toronto...
-
so jealous
-
they should like what the japanese did... with those underground biking parking systems. /watch?v=pcZSU40RBrg
