And of course the vehicle will work better if you set the suspension up for your weight. ----------- Tour Taiwan with me: http://hobbicide.com/M13Taiwan/ My Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Mordeth13 MY CAMERA: http://tiny.cc/o9ttiw My Helmet and pants: http://rhok.com.au/ My Private Series: http://www.m13online.com/?page_id=294

Completely agree with video; size is not necessarily a technical limitation of riding a bike. Something to consider, however, is that in the event of an accident an obese person is at least 1.5-2.4 times more likely to die (data is from car collisions, actual number may be higher or lower- but likely higher) than a non-obese person. This isn't ground breaking info...obese individuals are more likely to die younger, have heart disease, strokes, diabetes, etc., etc., etc. Perhaps it's the question that's wrong. Instead of "Am I too fat to ride a motorcycle?" it should stop at "Am I too fat?" Work on that, then get a motorcycle as a reward. Win-win.

Im 325 and 5'8 riding a 1200cc sporty. And to be honest I don't give a sh** what people think about how I look on it, I enjoy the ride and thats all that matters. Hell I still tool around on a 125 dirtbike when I'm bored on the weekends.

I weigh 245lbs and I'm 6'2". I've been riding a 50cc 2 stroke for the past week and it seems to take me up hills fine at top speed...

"Just punch 'em out. You're big, man." Liked and subbed.

Actually, the limit is imposed buy the capacity of the springs and shocks. The manufacturer will list what the bike will carry. If you weigh that much or less? You're golden.
-
+Joe Huffman your logic on common sense makes perfect sense man go 600 to male you feel more comfortable more power to ya
-
That ending is bad ass, even if it is on a pink scooter
-
I did not buy my Burgy until I confirmed it's load capacity. All that info is on manufacturer sites and owners manuals. Not real hard to find. If the manufacturer cannot answer your questions on the performance of a item, why buy it?

Is it just me or did he say he had a guy weighing 250 pounds on his scooter together with him, and that this would be equal to around 320 pounds in total..? So M13 here weighs 70 pounds..?
-
Im a huge guy! 6'3" 560lbs on a 150cc scooter. I know im killing my scooter lol. So im looking to move up in cc's..
-
I think you're perfectly correct... I'm almost 300lb, and I used to ride a lot on a 125cc Yamaha scooter here in Taiwan - never felt it was sluggish or too slow for me... Well.. the Harley Heritage I'm riding now will definitely take this question out of my mind forever :P Good vid, thumbs up, M13..
