In this video I install the brake levers and brake cables on my 1x speed bicycle conversion project! I installed bar end brake levers on the bullhorn handlebars, and routed the brake cables such that they should be mostly out of the way and keep the bike looking clean and simple. Just got the tektro rx4.1 levers but they don't fit in the inside of my bar, not quite sure what to do, would lubrication work as its secure without the housing

What minimum internal diameter handlebar will thus fit, without the black casing?

I have a very similar setup to yours but I'm trying to add a rear brake. I have an old brake cable from a previous bike. Is it possible to reuse the cables? On the tektro levers it seems like the hole is only big enough to allow an uncovered cable through.

Is it not possible to wrap the bars before putting in the brake levers, similar to wrapping the bars on drop bars and then installing the bar end plugs afterwards?
