I Mounted one of the cheap Chinese 80cc motor kit on my beach cruiser i am not sure how long the engine will last but for now it's strong and responsive, PS: all the bolts and nuts have been upgraded to grade A, since the one comes with the kit very poor quality, one of the engine mount bolt snapped on me at 35mph, thankfully i not injured serious and lived to put on some quality bolts and rear will with hub mounted support for sprocket. http://www.piratecycles1.com/picycbspad.html

ok there are combination of things, your clutch adjustment, keeping your carburetor little advance not alot you will have to play with it to find the sweet spot because different temperature it will act differently. last but not least obstructive exhaust, if you notice i took out the bottom part of my exhaust that's why it's little louder and throttle is bit more responsive.

I agree with you, stock sprocket it wont last you that long at all cause spokes will bent eventually, if you notice i bought a custom made sprocket mount from pirate cycles. my suggestion to you would be go to your local hardware store and buy all grade "A" bold for mounting the engine. one bold snapped on me and i flew off doing about 25ish miles an hour. it was painful. lol
