Benotto Italian racing bike, late '80s maybe early '90s, like Bianchi , Colnago, Bottecchia, Masi

This is an italian Benotto. It’s a nice classic roadbike with a branded fork and high end components all around. It looks like it was made in the late 80’s or early 90’s based on the components. I got word from a bike rep that these bikes were entry level Italian racing bikes. They were affordable but were not as classy as other Italian manufacturers. We put a new 8 speed cassette wheel with a spacer to accommodate the 7 speed drive train. This wheel is made up by a Shimano hub, Alex R450 rim and DT Swiss 2.0 spokes. My favorite part of old road bikes is when the brand name is etched at the top of the seat stays and when the seat post is tightened with double allen head seat binder bolt Please let us know what you think about this bike in the comments. Aren't old bikes too heavy for our days? Riding them is ok but taking them in and out of the vehicle? But it amazes me that with a little investment you can have a new bike again, ready for another 20 years!
