I HAD DONE A LOT OF RIDING IN MY TIME AND I STILL DO. ALL OF MY BIKES WERE JUST STOCK I AM TRYING TO LEARN WHICH BIKE TO BUY TO CUSTOMIZE WHICH BIKE IS WORTH THE INVESTMENT. A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO I HAD PURCHASED A TREK 3500 ITS A NICE BIKE TO GET TO AND FROM. I LIVE DOWN IN THE DESERT SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL. I WAS THINKING OF HOPPING THE FREIGHTRAIN WITH MY MOUNTAIN BIKE AND RIDE IN EACH CITY I GET TO.

You should change the title to "best downhill orientated bike for under XXXX" as you dismiss XC or trail bikes as being old fashioned due to them not being the best for downhill.

2:39, the Cube bike is missing its pedal!
edit: some of the other bikes are also missing their pedals in the side shots where the camera pans across the bike, why do they remove them? Is it because the rider had added aftermarket pedals instead of the ones the bike originally came with? -
