Please put the actual NAMES of the lights in the description or name them very clearly in the video. It is very hard to understand what you are saying.
-
lol that is no where near 15k lumen lol ppl believe anything that the description states on ebay
-
Everytime I try to watch this I fall asleep.. "com-pared...to...the other lamp...."" zzzzzz
-
I hate to break it to you but that 15000 lumen light... it wasn't certified was it? It looks much much mcuh less than 15000
-
Always calculate lumen/watts using the given data. For a typical good LED it is around 80..100 lm/W, for a not good one it is less, down to about 50-60 lm/W. That 15k lumens is a very big lie.
-
So based on this, the 75-300 lumen lights that my bike shop sells are basically useless?
-
just as confused as ever. but thanks.
Just a reminder, the claimed lumens EVERY manufacturer users, is ALWAYS for the flash mode. It's Not for the bright setting. the bright setting is usually ½ the claimed lumens.
Also the claimed lumens is just that, a Claim.
I'm using two cyglolite that are bright, but have a very tightly focused spot bean. I would need at least 3 more to light up the area as I want for riding trails at night -
15000 lumens! I think not! If you believe that I've got some oceanfront property I'd like to sell you in Arizona. Also, an 800 lumen light with well engineered glass lenses will be be more effective than a 1200 lumen light with a flat piece of glass in front of it. I've owed about four cheap lights claiming 1,800+ lumens off of Amazon, and all of them fall far short of their claims. How do I know? I've tested them with my light meter. Most of everything I've ordered from Amazon put out about half the lumens they claimed.. Not to mention, two of the lights, that's half of them, quit working in less than a year.. And that's not a good think when you're out in the woods at night. That being said, I finally bit the bullet and bought a light from a manufacturer that doesn't lie about the output. I bought the CygoLite MityCross 800 OSP SP LED Headlight - from Performance Bike. Tested against those Chinese lights that claimed 1,500 lumens, the Cygolight was brighter, had a MUCH wider beam (which is great for trails) and it's rock solid reliable. Not to mention you can oder spare battery packs, helmet clamps, and and other accessories directly from the manufacturer. Pack a couple of spare battery packs and you can ride all night. Given the horrible experiences I've had with cheap Chinese lights I will NEVER order another one again. After, you're talking about your safety.

So far this is the brightest bike light I've tried https://plus.google.com/110042050761155353887/posts/SgdMU72YZGY

Definitely not 15k lumens, they lied. I have a serfas 500 lumen that is far brighter than all of these. probably even combined
-
You should do a test with the camera light off, so you can see what it actually looks like. With the camera light on, it's not showing just how far out or how bright the lights are (at the lower level).

Или камера говно, или фонари не пойму)))
-
your handle bar is so fibrous lol
-
I have a 15,000lm flash light and to be honest either there some thing really wrong with yours or super low battery or it's not a cree at all
mine is brighter then all of those combined and a lot farther away! -
Weird. I can't find even one auction on eBay for the Vomlite VL-G2S. Even odder, there's bike lights that are 16,000lm instead of 1,600lm popping up.
