Sorry if it is already addressed, I am still working on watching through videos at the moment. I want to overhaul my camping gear. This means a new sleeping bag, tent, and mattress or pad. I get VERY cold VERY easily. I am in N. California. It is winter, wet, cold, windy and sometimes freezing. My last sleeping bag was horrible and the tent would collapse on itself. My matt did not keep me warm or off the ground enough. I have my bicycle, two rear ortlieb backroller panniers and a revelate frame bag if that matters. Can you suggest a tent, sleeping bag and pad or mattress for wet, cold and wind or direct me to the video of yours which does? Should it be 4 season? Should it be freestanding or not? Touring from Portland, OR to San Diego, CA. I have made it to Crescent City and the cold is brutal. I am willing to pay the price for warmth and staying dry!!! (this time)
Thank You!

Do you have any advice on preventing animal attacks or rummaging through your stuff in camp? I saw what looked like a black bear riping a hole in my pannier. The footsteps were very heavy so I thought someone was trying to steal my bike. I got back in the tent, and spent the next 4-5 hours in my tent while it made noises, growled at my and scratched at the tent. I finally got a break and packed up lightning fast and booked it. My food was in my tent but it toook a while for the (bear?) to make its way over to me, it was mostly concerned with my panniers for the first few hours and growled and stuff. Advice? I am riding the OR coast right now.

A real adventure, i thought about cycle touring Alaska but those long road mileages would do my headin. Beautiful scenery.

That was really well done. No music and just the right amount of information and talking. Thanks for filming it. I can't imagine how effort each scene required of you especially when the weather was crap and you were bagged.

Wow, you really put the time into those camera angles. Nice work! Cool trip. Must be so weird to have to go back to work after a trip like that.

Great shots of Alaska! At times, all I could say was, Wow!

I enjoy all of your videos immensely, well done. I don't know where you get all the energy and the 100% upbeat attitude but more power to you!
