Bicycle Touring: What Did We Get Ourselves In To?
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
We begin our bicycle tour near Jemez Springs, NM and also our journey through the water systems of the Southwest. Day One proved to be an epic start and by Day Three we were covering almost 50 miles to reach our first reservoir (El Vado Lake) on our way to Chama. Check out the blog for all the details about where we went and the water stories along the way! http://www.wanderlikewater.com/2016/09/22/bicycle-touring-what-did-we-get-ourselves-in-to/ Instagram: @wanderlikewater Email: sarah@wanderlikewater.com Thanks for watching - SUBSCRIBE and let us know what you think below! ~~Sarah & Patrick~~ Music: Crystals - Silent Partner (YouTube Creative Commons Library)

Great video! I was wondering, what bike (s) maker did you use on this bike tour?
-
I see one of you had a full size backpacking pack. How did you get that on your bike? Did you put it across your paniers? (I am trying to figure out how to go bikepacking and backpacking on the same trip)

Great footage. To the lady with the trekking bars, take it with a grain of salt, your bike and all, but I found having my trekking bars almost vertical really helps my wrists and my back. Plus they really helps me dig in when climbing. It can be a little scary not having your brakes right there but the easy solution I found was installing in-line brakes along with the normal brakes... Safe ridding. all the best.
