Mr. Ben Brown: https://www.youtube.com/user/benbrown100 NewZona Rides: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzBftPf_LPe66DmZts4qUTQ This world is full of all sizes of bikes. Great behemoths like the BMW GS 1200 adventures down to street legal factory stunt bikes like the Honda Grom. Some love the power and planted feeling of the large bikes while others prefer to to forgo the extra weight and dangers of a large bike for something slower, but much easier to manage. Have you riden the Ninja 650? If so what are your thoughts on that as a starter bike?
-
You would love my present bike. It's a 150 super sport :)
-
ninja300 is biggest selling bike in Australia but now yamaha has the MT07 thats 7 kg heavier...Now I understand why Im seeing them everywhere👀
-
That's why I like the Trumpy 675, they're not much heavier than the 300.
-
guys should I go for the Yamaha R3 or CBR300R or the Ninja 300?
-
I rode a lot of 600's for years when all the other guys would go on and on about the liter bikes, and i would still beat them in most of the twisties., Of corse raw power would beat you in a straight line, but that speed and power don't make you a rider, it just means the bike is fast. hehehe.
I will say the Big Gold wings, actually handle pretty smoothly as well. But they are not ever going to be nimble like you are talking about with your bike or the 600's they did make your bike when I was riding sport bikes.
Smaller bikes are more forgiving in some situations as well.
Picking up a bike is a huge factor on why I bought a 400, Im not as young as I once was. hehehe. But it pays to pick your options.
And you are correct, I agree, all out pure fun, is sometimes more fun on a smaller one.
Good job buddy, Mic is doing better.
have a blessed week my friend. -
Clearly your best work cause I am in it. Thanks for the mention? LOL Anyhoo I have a private comment I need to send you. I saw something in your video that was pretty awesome.

I agree. Smaller bikes are so much for fun. I own a zzr600 and a big old cruiser. The cruiser is great for long rides and what not. But damn a smaller bike like the zzr600 is so light its confidence inspiring.
-
I have to say I agree with you. The only positive about a big bike that I can think of is how smooth they ride.
-
I agree with you 100% obviously! The bigger bikes might be great on the highway but where is the fun in that! I absolutely hate the Hwy! I'd rather go through cow pastures, rivers and monster ruts than get on the Hwy! Lol! Wind muff bloopers, hilarious!

my bike is way bigger than the grom but it wont go as fast i like the triumph daytona 675 its light in the 600 class

I agree with so much of what you were saying about the bike sizes. For me, I'm not a very big guy so I tend to get a little intimidated by the larger bikes to the point where I either don't feel safe or I'm just not comfortable. I currently ride a sportster 1200 which is the largest that I've ever owned. Many of my friends ride much larger bikes, cruisers or other styles and they tell me all the time that I will regret this size or I should have purchased something bigger. I respect everything they are telling me but at the end of the day this motorcycle just plain feels right for me. Keep it safe my friend.

I'm a lot tech at a motorcycle dealer and I have to push out a variety of motorcycles big and small, I have to agree with you, I hate those gold wings and bmw police motorcycles, they're heavy AF! might as well just buy a car and yes sometimes I'll ride the big bikes, and it just makes me more content that I own a ninja 300 instead
