Bike Fit – How To Set Up Your Bike Like A Pro
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
How can you take inspiration from the pro bike set ups that you see in the Tour de France and apply it to your own bike? Here's how. Subscribe to GCN: http://gcn.eu/SubscribeToGCN You often associate pro cyclists with low, aggressive, aerodynamic positions on the bike. Although this is generally true, it's not a case of the pros using a standard pattern to fit their bikes. Rather, they spend time working on their position and bike set up to get the fastest bike for their riding style. So, instead of slamming your stem, the pro way to set up your bike is to think of what you want to achieve with your bike set up and to analyse how your bike fit and component choice can enable you to do this. Let us know the tips that you'd add in the comments and below and don't forget to like and share this video! After all these years I finally went to black bar tape after getting tired of replacing that pretty white tape every other tune up.

If you guys are gonna make a video that teaches you how make a pro bike, use a bike that's actually good, Pinarello, S-works, Casti

I need to get my friend to watch this. His position is as aggressive as a sloth taking a nap.

considering frame sizes: what frame sizes have you presenters been using while racing and how tall are you? Thanks a lot!

I've been getting solid and consistent gains on my bike the past few months but it is starting to slow down now. I had a pro fitting last week and the seat height went up another centimeter or so. The day after, the wife and I rode 38.3 miles and I felt like my back was trying to kill me.
This week, we started regular stretching and I may even see about trying some yoga with her. Down about 47 or 48 lbs of the 165 I set out to lose so part of my problem definitely is the weight. But I enjoy the higher seat height (feels better in legs and knees) but don't want to have the raise the bars too high (changing fro a 7 degree to a 17 degree stem today but don't want any higher). So yup... definitely time to start stretching. -
Awesome advice. Thanks

Being the only women on a club ride though that is changing. All the money spent on kit!
