Bike Ramps Test. Kicker Jump.

Home made ramps. First trial of the launch (kicker) to landing (flat) ramps made for my seven year old lad (and me!). I want to make a Table too but not sure weather to go for 4' or 5' long (any thoughts then feel free to post constructive ideas please). Specs: Launch Ramp is 2'6" high and 2'6" wide, and has a 5'6" transition drawn with a 7' arc as per this link - http://www.diyskate.com/launch_01.html Landing Ramp is 2'4" high and 3' wide, and has a 6' top. Paint is Cuprinol decking stain in Urban Slate colour. It has a kind of grit in it to give good grip in all weathers. Music is OPM - Better Daze from Menace To Sobriety.

These people don't know what a kicker ramp is. They are saying, "Don't Nose Dive!" That is what a kicker ramp does. You jump off of it and the lip at the top of the ramp makes your back tire kick up and your front tire go down.

how did you bend the plywood to form the jump? i did a similar thing for backflips with R/C cars, but i used flexible thin paneling...

You need to pull up your bars when you are landing or else youll go over

stand up and lift up your bars. If you don't, you will nose dive. Pretty cool ramp though
