Bike ride in Japan
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Sit back and watch Japan go by as I do the work. Parts of my daily commute. 40 km round trip 5 days a week. About 60 min to go one way. Rain or shine I ride! Why ride the train it takes the same time! It costs you money and the bike is a free health club. Maintaining the bike is way cheaper that a year of train fair. I am free I can stop where I want and when I want. Station areas visited: Omiya Warabi Ariajuku Others passed by Rt 17,34,1 taken in Saitama When I ride I need up to date weather info. I use the weather underground! http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/47671.html

I am happy that you did not get hit by a car making this video and thanks for showing us around.

Interesting commute; everyone seems to ride at a very sedate pace and the car and trucks also slow so makes for reasonably safe cycling I suppose. Thanks for the film ☺.

Dude holy crap, props to sticking with a job so insanely far away from where you live.

Which Japanese city is this?
-
Japanese city streets are not very kind to bicycle riders considering the number of people use it.
Imagine if the Japanese streets are as friendly to the bicycles as, say Amsterdam, how many more would be riding on bicycles? -
thats a packed train

Great video, was nice to see what Japan looks like at eye level.

That's a very quiet ride, I noticed that ladies bikes are unisex in Japan and here I felt girly when I rode a lady bike and that I put a plastic pipe to the frame. What a shame.

Cool! I did the same thing while I was living in Japan. I rode my bicycle from Higashi Koshigaya to Kawaguchi Minami every day, no matter what the weather was. I've never been as fit as then :-).
