Bike Show TT; Zero SR

Now, here's something a bit different; usual feature but an electric bike. If they can set the Isle of Man alight then there must be more to these bikes than meets the eye. Clinton takes charge (!) and puts in an electrifying lap.

damn that must be alot of fun with no gear change only pure power from hand from corner 155 nm on down rpm on bike which have 67 hp is spectacular force on low and midrange ;) if they someday do battery which do 300 mille on one "tank " with use 75% of what engine got and could chargé battery in lets say 15 minutes and it dont lost power after 500 chargé than i buy electric motorcycle .

"it's electric, it's not a real motorbike...." you guys are up for some suprises in the not too distant future ;)

Thanks Clinton for the track review of the Zero SR. I've got 13,000 miles on an "S" and can sympathize with the long learning curve for picking up an "ear" for the engine/motor sounds for speed and load. A career of electric familiarity might improve the lap times though perhaps not the ranking as 3 seconds is a big gap to the Hypermotard.

'Because no engine noise its hard to tell he was you are going"
Huh? The engine on a ICE is geared through the transmission so there is a different speed for the same engine speed in each gear. Maybe they are talking about acceleration. -
uhhh, hope not is right. Cool bike none the less.

Only discovered your YouTube channel recently, really like your review style and so pleased you're covering electric bikes as well!

"The E-Bike Show"
Enough of these mamby pamby nerd machines.
The environment isn't going to destroy itself.
Go pour waste oil down the drain to make up for this.
