i so agree with the buy a cheap 250/300 and then go to 1000. if you dont you just waste lots of money in the process!! wish i knew then what i know now

great video man. My first road bike was a 660lb. Harley with a 1340cc engine and now I'm riding a FZ09. it's such a different experience! they both are really fun bikes but the FZ is so much more fun.

Holy intro O_O !!!! You hit a lot of key points there man and every bike will teach you something new or a new way to :) ride through experimenting :)
-
I rip it up all the time and she handles it well.... Oh wait, bikes. We're talking about bikes.
-
Let me, let me upgrade you. Something will change for me .
-
Good summary - I related to it mostly as someone who doesn't want a bike that I can throw myself off the back of. I would have been a nut as a young rider and there's still some of that lurking even now ;-) The 500 has plenty of power and speed but not too much for the road - for me.
This is good info though and so many people, especially younger people new to riding, ask the questions which you've answered here, so good job mate - thumbs up.

Great video mate. I prefer the power delivery of a 1000cc compared to 600cc. The low - mid range power is really all that changes. As you said, learn on something cheap and then get whatever fits best!
-
Great topic, I thought about going to a 1000 but I just don't think I would ever use all that power.
-
Video is 6 minutes 36 seconds, i see what you did there ;)
-
Good video. There are so many upgrade paths now that the "traditional" 250-600-1000 path has many variations, but the progression stays the same, start small and light and work your way up. And of course it doesn't stop at 1000cc. No matter where you are you're always looking for more. Ride safe, mate.

My last bike the Honda 750 1998 model weighed the same as the bandit but the power difference was huge :)
-
Great advice.
-
Nice vlog man. I think you explained the difference between the 3 ccs of bikes real well.
-
Good video, I like it a lot! As you know I just jumped up from my 250 to the 600 and have been loving it. Just buy an old 250 and use it to learn on, then move up to a 600 and buy something you actually want! haha
-
Great video Bro. Its cool that you have experience with different size bikes. I kind of want to have my first track day on 300 due to the power. Maybe one day.
-
I'd say go to your dream bike, my dream bike is an R1 and depending on when I upgrade and how much money I have that's what I'll be going to from my 250. I'm not fussed about the power because if I wanted power I'd be on something like a BMW or Ducati Panigale. I like it for what it is. It's not economically viable to get a 600 and then a 1000. I'd go straight to a 1000 but I think I'd have to be extremely mature about the way I ride that thing. I just don't want to buy a bike that I don't want to have sitting in my driveway, you know what I mean big boi?

Wow what an intro ,I thought the news was about to start and then it did...Good take on the whole debate.
-
Well done on passing the exam mate. You'd have to have some pretty amazing mates to let you borrow their 600 for three months!
-
Same old story really.
-
Good advice man. A person soon learns their limits and though we all love to push them we shouldn't push to far past them to quick :)
