Bikes Direct Windsor Tourist Unboxing

I took a chance and mail ordered a bike that I'd had my eye on for some time. It comes disassembled and is shipped to the customer the way that they are shipped to retailers. This allows for good discounts on the merchandise. Windsor Bikes, I am not understand, are made by Fuji, and sold to Windsor as overruns. So, if this is true, I have a Fuji equivalent bike for much less than the cost of a Fuji. The Tourist is a touring bicycle, so it should be able to carry decent loads and has braze-ons for mounting water bottles and pannier racks. It comes with a single rack.

Nothing major, but I would recommend changing the shifter and break setup to save time trying to fix them.

I have the same bike. I do recommend that you change the shifters, derailers, and break system. They wont last were well.

actually, I just took it for it's first spin today. It was a modest ride about 2 km. The saddle's a bit hard, so I will probably replace it eventually. The stem has a little bit of play in the headtube if you take the wheel between your legs and turn the handlebars left/right with moderate force. can't seem to tighten it to immobile. chain rub on front derail on small sprocket. shifts smooth up and down on front and back.
