We gathered BikeRadar's global network of product testers - and a few of our friends - and asked them a simple question: 'if you could unwrap any bit of road cycling kit on Christmas morning, what would it be?'

Electric vehicles, biking, walking and mass transit are all part of making cities livable and enjoyable.
Bike to work day should be everyday. Employers need to provide places to park and lock bicycles and encourage employees to ride a bicycle to work.
Every school should encourage children to walk to school or ride a bicycle by providing safe places to lock and store bicycles and by supporting safe walking and biking paths that connect schools, homes and businesses. Kids would be healthier and get more exercise if parents stop driving them to school and bought them a bicycle. -
More police should be required to ride a bicycle on duty. This way they could make recommendations to the city to improve bicycle safety. There needs to be more safe bicycle lanes and paths that connect work, school and homes. Businesses and apartments need to do more to provide safe places to lock or store bicycles

I'm just hoping that Campagnolo come up with some new products to meet the onslaught of innovation from SRAM and Shimano. They've been given a lifeline by the UCI on disc brakes - I reckon that the temporary ban on them was partly to allow Campag to catch up - but they need to get back in the game or they're toast. Potenza isn't enough.

That Mason Bokeh looks the Dogs *******

I'm exited at how amusing blokes with disc roadbikes will be.and yes I was gods gift to cycling Thank you! ( still am design wise )

Disc brakes on road bikes, we've already tested a few and are getting a lot of call for these.

"What I am particularly excited about with the new Di2 is the power meter"
That is nothing to do with Di2. You also zoom in on a non-power meter version of the 9100 crank when he says this.
F-. Try harder. -
Iso Speed Emonda was made for the Trek team around 2014/15 but not sold to the public until made available in the race shop limited version to publc. The bike's features looked to have influenced the Trek Madone 9.

this should just be called "most expensive gear of 2017"

In 2017 I'm looking forward for bike "journalists" to stop masturbating and salivating everytime brand X spews out another "disc" version of X bike. Also, ZIPP can shove that 454 whale design wheels up "where the sun don't shine" for that price...

I want to see a very light fatbike....I use mine year round, snowy slippery roads are no match for low pressure tires, and a very comfortable ride. Most of us like to be comfortable and enjoy the cycling experience, not necessary for me to be the fastest- just want the comfort, without having to expend large amounts of energy....lots of room for improvement here. I think. And durability....want to ride, not adjust and maintain components constantly

FWIW: Those bumps on the Zipp wheels are inspired by the leading edge of a humpback whale pectoral flipper, not the trailing edge.

Front suspension , Disc brakes, electronic systems, More fancy bike, Ridiculous.
-
An extra expensive bike that rides smoothly over cobbles... While there are more than plenty of smooth surface roads to ride on. It's like searching for turbulence in the new Dreamliner plane.
-
Cobbles wreck your bike, spokes, wheels, your neck, every joint and the rest of your body. What is so funny about that ?
-
Disc brakes... They hurt my ears very badly. Is everyone else deaf ? Never seen a bike with disc brakes that were quiet. Cant be near them.
