Nice review, also considering this bike.

I'm definitely going to get this bike, thanks for this video you solved a lot of questions I had, one question tough, any idea if how much the bike weights?
-
Julla, Like I say I could have almost went either way. For either frame I would need to change the handlebar neck to be shorter. On my bike, I have a neck that is shortened and slightly raised. It is very comfortable to me. Your best bet is trying a Giant Defy at the bike shop. I can't answer for sure on tire sizes, I can't think of an issue going larger, but you better do your homework to be sure. Good luck. Let me know what you end up doing.

BikesDirect says that for this bike, the 53.5cm fits 5'9" to 5'11"
If you are 6'1", wouldn't this bike be too small for you? I'm 5' 9 1/2" trying to decide on the size to order.
Also, what is the maximum tire width that you think this bike could take? 28mm? 32mm?
Thanks. -
helped for sure I a, looking Into the mirage slx

Nice bike. Never heard of Gravity. Wish I would have known of BD before I got mine off Amazon.

Glad you are also a happy Gravity rider..I have been riding their Cyclocross platform for about 4k miles now.. Great bike and I am just running a Shimano Claris control group.

I picked up the older Gravity Pro 20 and I agree with you on everything. I'm very happy with it 500 miles in. I'm 5'9" and would have gone with the 53cm, but, like you, I tried out a Giant Defy first and the 50cm seemed best. That's a big plus being able to test the fit before you buy. I compared geometry charts and the figures on the 2 bikes are identical.

How is the bike so far? What do you think of carbon forks? do you feel safe with them?
-
Have you weighed the bike yet? Just curious if It's under 19lbs.
-
Do you know why the seat stays are placed below the top tube?
-
Do you know the weight of the bike by any chance?
-
You are welcome! I am glad I was able to help. You will be happy with this bike, it really is a joy to ride.

Thanks for putting this review up, I just ordered the same bike. I was also looking at the carbons but decided since I am not a pro biker or anything that this would be good enough. I was most impressed on this model that these arn't cheap ass wheels. Hopefully I can make this last a decade too. Cheers for the review appreciate seeing what it looks like in video before I buy.

I have been looking at bikes direct and thinking about buy two bikes from them a Vent Noir and a Gran Premio. I want a aluminum bike never had one except a mtn bike. The Gran Premio is a steel frame with carbon fork. I was looking at Cannondale but for the money difference I would take a chance on the bikes direct.
I always have a Schwinn Traveler that I bought 34 years ago when I was 14. I don't ride it any more I am afraid of getting it damaged or stolen. -
