Bought a Gravity SS 29er from them. After finding the front disk was slightly warped and the tire had a bulge in it I emailed them a cell phone video of the problems. I received an email back that day apologizing for the problem and assuring me they would take care of the problem. Three days later I received a new disk and tire that where in perfect condition. I for one cant complain about Bike Directs customer service or their bikes.

Just take off the plastic spoke guard that will solve the issue

One email, and they'll fix it. Local bike shops hate Bikes Direct because they can't compete with pricing for identical bikes. I've put together two bikes from there and have nothing but praise for them. Their customer service is email based, but quick, professional and rock solid.
