Get the complete story on The Auto Channel website at: http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2014/05/08/109892-bmw-c-evolution-marks-new-chapter-urban-mobility-video.html The C evolution is powered by a drivetrain swing arm with liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor via a toothed belt and ring gearing. The rated power output is 11 kW (15 hp), with a peak output of 35 kW (47 hp). This enables the C evolution to achieve a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph, electronically limited) and gives it better acceleration than some maxi scooters powered by engines with displacements of 600 cc or more.

Lol! 8 kW/h battery is the equivalent of 0.7^liters of gasoline. This extremely heavy and dangerous scooter doesn't even have the performances of a 50cc motorcycle and costs like a Rolls Royce. Made for idiots.

after 100km, 4 hour charging...what a waste of time and money...:-(

When available in America?? Cost?
-
just 100km range? after that wath i do? no electricstation recharge at the moment just gasoil station or better for us make better range with graphene.
thank you. -
Why is this thing so damn heavy? 265 kg/583 lbs according to their web site. No wonder the range is so short compared to the ZEV Electric LRC 12.2 kw that has 225 km range, is over 100 lbs lighter, and is much faster --and less money than the BMW.
