Great! I'm about to buy one of those. Used, but whatever. :) Anyone knows some good light adventure tracks in south Germany? I'm from Ulm.

Great video. I've been bouncing back and forth between buying the 1200gs adventure or the 650. This video sold me on the 650 since I'll be using it on logging and fire roads along with pavement

-
nice video! this bike definitely has that "go where no one has gone before" thing :)!
-

Speaking of mods, what did you do on both bikes ? I see some H&B crash bars on the yellow, but hard to tell if it has other mods... I'd tell, new pegs (Touratech's ?), folding brake and gear levers. Are these the stock suspensions ?

Agreed, the K60 are awesome tires. Each rear size has a different shape (because it's made for different types of bikes), a 140/80 17'' and 100/90 19'' (or 21'' for the Dakar) are perfect for the 650 GS and last about 12-13'000 km. (a lot more than the TKC 80 for example). They stick on tarmac and are pretty good off road, not a real knobby but last much longer. Here in Switzerland they cost about 250CHF (incl. mount), a little more expensive than a TKC, but you change them almost twice less ;-)
