I did tried 2 different BMW shops to fix my 1200 GS 2006 (pistons in line) 4 times . It charged me 4 K dollars after the warranty expired. They blamed the Oxygenist sensor and replaced 2 times my pipe, for a loose power and died like a gasoline problem. They did replace my battery twice, but after 2 months later it failed again.. my BMW has bean garaged from the last repairs in 2008 until today. My "new" bike started having problems almost at six months from buying it at the store. They kept fixing it until the warranty ended. After that I had to pay 4K as described, trying to fix it. You are to far from me. I live in Ontario Ca. I don't trust anymore in the BMW Mechanic shops at all. Please if you recommend any one near L.A or san Bernandino county in CA please notify me. I would really reallly appreciate it.

Hi Chris. Any chance that you recall the other model with the "backwards" front wheel installation? Was it something specific to do with ABS models? About to get the tires changed on my 85 K100, and want to make of note of it to the mechanic one way or the other.

Video's a couple of years old but the information in it is timeless. Thanks guys for uploading.

Thanks Chrs....the measurements along the forks from top triple tree to bottom triple tree differs by 1 mm. For left and right forks.
Bike wants to go in a big circle. No sign of damage. What would you recommend? -

Thanks Chris, I have a 75s that has issues with the head bearings. You've just taken the mystic out of the job for a spanner numpty! Loved the reference to the Rasta Banana... Greetings from Scotland! Mike.

My carpentry teacher from high school... "Man, don't Peck at that dude, Swing that hammer!"

Thx. This helped me a lot when replacing the bearings myself!.
Next project will be the cam chain and tensioners if you need inspiration :-) -
Chris desde España, felicidades por tus vídeos, son fantásticos.
Gracias por compartir tu trabajo.

Haha ! , I'm not crazy about Beemers , but fuck me , those clocks can take a hammering .

Only a "fucking" moron would hammer in a bearing race with the socket not completely lined up with the lip of the race! Moving it from side to side like he does may damage the bearing surface.

Hey Chris! Thanks for your K75 videos. I picked up quite a few tips and tricks for working on my own 1990 K75RT. Just replaced the gearbox (mine had a faulty 2nd) and the auxiliary drive shaft unit. This last one was very informational too. Marcel

I replaced the steering bearings and races on my '92 K75s without the tool and I could never get a tight fit. Nice work!
