1. I love it. The beauty of Tom Waits is his allowing others to interpret his melodies to their style as long as they hold the words in place. Bette Midler did just that.
2. Yes this is Tom`s song.....but Bette brings her own special something to it.

5. Tom Waits version is preformed the way this song should be. Don't get me wrong..I love Bette Midler BUT i feel she has lost on this song.
6. i guess this is from art or bust, but does anyone have "detour" from radio city? she must have all these taped, she should really release some of them.
