No one tries to snatch your go pro from you? I plan to use the head gear for my camera but I'm worried about someone will run by and grab my head gear camera.I'm going to Philippines next month. :)

i have been watching your video fo while now and i like what you have been showing us/ i am from Bulacan, born and raised there until i immigrated to the US some 45 years now. Bulacan is quite a beautiful place as i remember. i am glad you chose my province; people there are really friendly and helpful and beautiful. Good luck and enjoy the Philippine hospitality and culture and life there, very simple and charming,
Also most of the Bulacanos speak very understandable english, and Tagalog is easier to learn, just give yourself sometime and practice, you will enjoy your stay there more,
i'll be awaiting your next video, bye. -
Hi Chris, first off, I love your videos, you do a great job with them. One thing I've noticed is that I've yet to see a traffic light or Stop sign. Do they not have them in the Philippines? My girlfriend and i are planning on building a small house in Antipolo in the next year or two. Maybe we can get together sometime. I'm so jealous of you right now...LOL Keep up the great work!

Oh, the horror, giving up your 650! Now you're surrounded by all these bikes reminding you all day about riding. Any idea what the bike at 3:11 is?

There's such a thing called "Skin Tax" in the Philippines. Once a vendor thinks you're a foreigner the price goes up a few notches. They associate the color of your skin with wealth, which is crazy. Here's a few phrases when buying stuffs: "Mahal naman."< That's pricey. "Wala na bang tawad?"<Can you give me a better deal? "Salamat." < Thank you.

Buy Yamaha or Honda, don't buy a Chinese motorbike. they don't last very long.

I was 47 when I met my wife and she was 22. We got married, it has been a great life after 10 years.

So you are learning, I see. Good for you.

If you're really going to stay for a long time here, you should learn the language. Once people know that you can you understand them, they won't take advantage of you. And also, Haggle!

Chris, this may be a crazy question but rent I think will be a big cost per month even though I know it is extremely cheap compared to Canada but since it is a big cost why don't you consider sharing with another expat?

getting a used bike may be worth it. good way to get out and about and get different videos. No need for all the bells and whistles.. just need good dependable transportation. I watch a video on my Philippine dreams and he had good things to say about the (rusi) not sure if i am saying it right. I remember it was a chinese version. May can find a good deal on one around your area. Looking forward to more videos.. i would recommend not saying welcome back to much while doing video... hey like jack says...life is good...
