bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
Motorist looking for motor traffic to the east, didn't look west for cycleway traffic and pulled out as group of riders were in front of vehicle. Approx 07:15 - bikes heading east.

Equal fault. Cyclists should never ride the wrong direction, for the very reason that drivers are usually looking for traffic coming from the legal direction and not considering dumbasses coming the wrong way.
-
Lol there was a group of bikes, several of which passed him before he hit that guy. How could he not have seen them? It should be almost a reflex to look both ways.
-
The cyclists in this case broke my personal rule of not depending on cars to do the right thing. If I had been alone, and could not make eye contact with the driver, I would have simply gone around him to the inside, assuming there wasn't a line up of cars behind him that might have also hit me. There is the law and there is physics. I don't want to be hit by a car, and the most risk I will take in a T-bone situation is if I am holding eye contact, anything less than that, I am not going into the situation.

Thats a bike lane not side walk you idiots look at the marking the beginning

Dam

stupid cyclist, anyone with road sense would have known the driver was pulling out into traffic - so ride behind him…..any idiot knows to do this. These are the dumb c**nts who walk behind cars when they are reversing into a parking spot.
-
What a legend lol.
-
It would have been far better if the cyclists were riding on the correct side of the road. That was illegal riding.
-
That bike snapped like a twig. I assume the rider learned not to use the sidewalk...or, at least, not against the flow of traffic

Don't ride bike near cars and you won't run into them.
-
no one expects cyclists on the sidewalk dummy
-
Idiots for riding on the footpath
-
Oh no, not a Cannondale

What a great example of how shit some cycle lanes can be, whilst the driver is to blame as he didn't look before driving across the "cycle lane", it is not that surprising that he did as it isn't clearly marked like the road is.
-
At least the driver admitted fault. Nothing enrages me more than seeing bad driving and a driver that reacts by making stuff up and blaming it on something else.
-
Cycling in front of a car coming out of a petrol station when the traffic is coming towards his right side. What a Durango..should have gone behind the car. Bicycles going to fast for the situation ,not riding with due care and attention yet again.

What a stupid driver. This is why I rarely, if ever, ride my bike on the sidewalk. You can paint all the cycling markings you want on that sidewalk, but it doesn't change the fact that it is a sidewalk, and many drivers are incapable of looking for traffic on the sidewalk. The road is much safer place to be than a sidewalk.

Boy that car driver looked really concerned, casually getting out and shrugging and checking out his ride. What a mother fucker...

Dafuq , was this a carbon fork or why did his front wheel flip that easy of? He should be thankful that he not lose his wheel at 80kph..
