I went through this dilemma before getting my CBR 250, a lot of people were telling me to go with a supermoto because it's more comfortable for taller people..but FOR ME, a CBR 250 is just fine!

I'm having a lot of trouble with finding a bike as I am 6'8" and about 245. I have found that for guys my height cruisers are better (Which is what I prefer anyways) but I can't find one that is smaller for a starter bike. Hopefully I can.

Im 6'7 and about 191. Do you think CBR 500R would be a good bike to start on. According to EU laws I cannot get a bigger bike until I'm 21.

I'm 6'4" and NY weight ranges from 240-260. I walk around at 240 in the summer because I lift and cut down when its warm . What would be a good bike for me. I'm thinking I would have to get a cruser, but I want to go fast, and I don't want to spend 13gs on a bike.

6'1 230 lbs here and totally comfortable on my CBR 600

186 pounds isn't even heavy. you must be thin as a pole at 6'4. 185 is healthy weight for someone 6'1.

sport bikes are doable if you check out a few different ones, I am 6'2 and stupidly got a new ducati monster 821. the shoulders and back were fine but the foot pegs were up so high I could barely get my legs up, it made for a very unstable ride where I wasn't part of the bike...felt unsafe. should have taken it for a longer test ride. I now have a Harley 48 sporster which come stock with ford controls and they are narrow enough to still lane split in bumper to bumper traffic . difference is night and day comfort wise. I remember my first bike ninja 250 and it was comfy enough. I also test rode a bmws1000r and I really sat into it more with comfy legs. bottom line is even amongst non cruisers theirs a lot of variation so make sure you take it out for a while not just sit on it at the dealership
