Cycling in Holland - Alkmaar (and surroundings)

This time the cycling really takes place in Holland (which is in the west of the Netherlands). In North-Holland to be precise, in and around the city of Alkmaar. Since it is all windmills, tulips and bicycles in this video a bit of corny music seemed fitting. 'Ik hou van Holland' (I love Holland) by 1960s child singer Heintje, a street organ and on the accordion. You can't really go much more Dutch than this... On 30 April the Dutch celebrate their National Holiday.

@Gana35 About the helmets: there isn't a regulation that states the use of helmets: though parents with young children are more and more using them for their kids: I learned biking without a helmet, including many falls ;) About indicating turns: that is, to my opinion a negative side-effect to the rule that a motorist is always at fault in an accident between car and bike...

@Zoza15 because we have cycling paths everywhere at every road. and warning signs about passing cyclers at every corner.

I wish most people in Asia ride bikes so I don't have to breath in exhaust gases every single day. I am sure if I live here more than 3-4 years I'll get lung cancer.
