The 3rd of February 2012: finally the first snow of winter 2011/2012 fell in the Netherlands. Of course, the Dutch just roll on on their bicycles. A bit of snow doesn't stop any of the cyclists in the Netherlands. They keep on riding their bikes from A to B. Video shot within one hour in 's-Hertogenbosch a.k.a. Den Bosch in the Netherlands. Wow, me and hubby go out through winter. We have good outdoor clothes and love how quiet it is when the weather does this. We do more miles on the bike than in the car 👍😁

28's are not my type of bike. I have an old road bike, but I'm not using it anymore, because when it's rainy, calliper brakes do not perform well at all. I use mountain bike, 26", no suspension, V-Brakes, of course, threaded tires, rear rack with custum made mount so I can have it mounted in front, rear rack, also custumly attached, bmx handle bars, dynamo powered custum LED lights, basket custumly attached on front rack, pannier bags on rear rack. I didn't made it for speed, I made it as cargo bike, that thing's a tank. These snow filled roads in this video? Should be no problem at all.

The only thing what makes it dangerous riding in the snow that you have trouble to see where the path is, as you can see in this video.

Kudos to the Dutch people. They really know how to enjoy life. I love snow and bicycles, but where I live you'd better not roll on your bicycle. Unless you want to fly ten feet off the ground, of course.

That's some heavy snow right there. Snow isn't really a regular visitor here in the Netherlands. Usually its just rain or a wintry mix :/ This year it only snowed like 4x the entire season, and we even live close to the border xD

It's a fresh snow, it's rather easy to cycle on it
