On 9th July 2016 whilst getting back into the rhythm of cycling, I was mowed down by a Toyota registered EJ63 AWC. The car failed to stop at the scene resulting in me facing concussion, bleeding around the skull and bruising throughout the right side of my body. It resulted in multiple visits to the hospital and a lot of time of work. All was captured on a GoPro strapped to my chest The police are currently investigating the crash and I hope the driver understands what he has done. The GoPro recorded for another hour before a paramedic turned it off however I have decided not to show that as you'll see a lot of upset children and images which are better not shown.
