Dash cam footage of cyclist getting hit by car in Cambridge
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
The driver in front of me clearly didn't see the cyclist and immediately claimed that she did nothing wrong. The cyclist didn't believe he did anything wrong but was still in shock so couldn't quite recall. I was in the car behind, but I only just caught a glimpse of the poor chap getting hit, so I couldn't say for sure. Luckily, the dash cam caught the whole thing. (Please excuse the potty mouthed reaction...!) I couldn't tell if the driver was about to drive away so I honked to get her attention, before seeing to the cyclist. Hi Omar
I’m working on an ITV show – “Car Crash Britain” – which is based around dashcam footage of collisions.
It would be good to talk to you about the possibility of using part of your video in a montage in the programme.
I am on dan.aldridge-neil@itn.co.uk.

It looked like she was about to run for it about twice until she saw the ambulance lights and realized that professionals and you were there to back the guy up! Good for you!

Good of you to stop! ^_^
What were the blue flashing lights? Was it an ambulance/police that seen what happened moments after?? -
This is something I hate about roundabouts. Cyclists are VERY easily missed at roundabouts due to how busy and big the layout can be.

Anyone else notice the birdie from the cyclist when I honked the horn? :-)
I was trying to let the driver know that I had seen the accident in case she decided to drive away. The cyclist however, thought I was honking at him for taking up the road! I'm pleased to say that other than a few cuts, bruises and some sores, he is in good health. Not only did he have this footage to help his case, incidentally, there was an ambulance just a short distance behind me. Some would say that he's a lucky man. Others would argue that if he was lucky, he wouldn't have got hit! -
Not again!!!
