very nice very rare very good, its awful to see so many on their knees to ramones and pistols when all the time the real pioneers will never be known or respected,i my self find these small sort lived bands represent the real underground, crass farm did alot for these bands/try thin yoghurts!///////////////////
-
very jolly
-
I never pass the same way twice, I never take my own advice.
-
You're on the wrong page, mate. Perhaps rubbish like Sham 69 or UK Subs is more your speed.
-
the band wants to know why you haven't made your single yet<
-
never heard this band before. this song is so good. reminds me of swell maps, which is a good thing. :)
-
Classic music, you never hear such raw talent anymore .....hail the Desperate Bicycles.
-
one of the most beautiful songs i´ve ever heard!
-
nice to see the comments i bought this from rough trade when it was a record shop!
-
@Jlipnicki Maybe some rich kids did, but don't put us all in the same boat. Bands like The Different Eyes & Royston didn't have a pot to piss in in those days & came from poor council estates.
-
@Jlipnicki it was at the time very raw released through rough trade they may have been slightly arty farty but i loved them i bought scritti first ep but out of four tracks one was a gem! gang of four were very simular(quote) but at the time it only cost between 50 p and and 70 p to buy vynyl the computter world has allowed us to listen to stuff we loved and payed money for! nowdays artists have it easy if they are good we post it! thank fuck for the tinternet! loves ya all

I wish the has-been members of the Desperate Bicycles'd agree on re-issues of the music they made. Although I can reason rather well as to why they don't, and that's part of their charm, I believe. Really great pop-tones there.
-
@brandoncipelle But WAIT-- Have you practiced 12 hours a day for ten years yet??
-
I bought this single as well, there was only music on one side
-
I bought this back in the 70's,

it looks like i'm the oldie here so far. i bought this, 1977 i think, the era of . sadly, i had to discard my copy as it warped and was unplayable. so thank you billyorangeblue. i love the basicness of this record and witty lyrics. it could have been put forward as early pink floyd. syd barrett would have been proud to have made this.

it's like the doors and 70s punk had a child together. awesome.
