Diesel V Twin motorbike.

This is the diesel bike I've just completed and on its first test run. It is a BMW R80 and a German V twin stationary engine The engine is a Motorenwerk Cunewalde 2VD 8/8 - 2SVL often found in the Multicar M22 and generator power plants. It does about 65mph! and I'm still working out MPG :)

I take it this is a VW industrial diesel engine. Do you know where one can get parts for this engine? We have been a Deutz dealer since 1974, and have a customer who landed one of these engines and is looking for parts for it. Any help would be appreciated.

God bless you man, we need diesel motorcycles here in the US. Have you figured a way to fit a radiator to it and one that will actually cool down that big engine?
