Those downhill bikes are monsters!
-
Spacer setup on that bike and seat post is for 6,4 and taller.
-
What do know those guys except telling stories??
-
that spacer stack under the stem tho..
-
27.5 model may be faster but who doesn't love the fun and flickability of a 26 inch bike especially if your into freeride!
-
At $5,650, i'll wait and buy one 2nd hand, too many clams for me.
-
My bike is sram equipped I wish my bike was like that

this guy doesnt know much about mtb you can tell... for 1 these bikes are taken off bigger stuff than hes describing lol. and thats not an enduro style fork... its a dh fork... dual crown... enduro bikes aren't dual crown and that big. please dont talk about a bike and try too sell it when you dont know much about it hahahaha
-
Finally bikeman has some stuff for dh/freeride!!! There might not be stuff in long island but a few hours north will yeaild you some gnarly trails ;)

Ya, if one is not a pro, or does not live near a ski lift that offers downhill biking, or does not have another consistent means to shuttle the bike to the top of wherever...it's a little tough to think of downhilling as anything more than a specialized niche market that attracts mostly thrill/danger seekers rather than folks that really enjoy riding bikes.

Not my mountain riding style (I'm just a trail rider), but man do those downhill bike's look stout. As for this bike, looking at how it's outfitted in terms of components, and the over all style - definitely a very nice bike option for those whom do the downhill thing (I like the style). As for wheel size war that's gown so old and stale, I'm totally indifferent - I say just find the bike you like and get out there rather then worry about what the latest craze in wheel size is...

Couldn't they have used a bigger cassette for those occasions when you can't magic yourself to the top?

Giant 2 years ago "29 is the future" lol....good vid though, thanks Bart and Gang.
