Es verdad, hoy en día la comedia ha perdido mucho, quitando excepciones como la que menciona. La comedia en el cine no tiene que reducirse solo a un diálogo, porque muchas veces, ni siquiera ese diálogo, esa narración es graciosa. Hay que jugar más con la cámara, los efectos de sonido, la dirección, el montaje...TODO.

I feel like comedy (in my opinion) is based so much on visual rather than dialogue. Which is why I love 80s comedies like Airplane and the Naked Gun series.
Most American comedies these days are just crude for the sake of being crude, I guess that's what people are into these days. Us brits seem to stay true to what comedies are. -

I couldn't help but notice that at 5:25, where a chocolate cake is shoved into the frame, it appears to be a reference to the videogame franchise Portal - namely, "the cake is a lie" -joke. When you think about it, this accommodates the story really well! :)
