EG Vienna 250 Video Review - Light, Cheap, Folding Electric Bike
bicycles reviews | bicycles videos | bicycles online
https://electricbikereview.com/eg/vienna-250/ The EG Vienna 250 is one of the lightest and cheapest folding electric bikes I've reviewed weighing in at just ~43.5 lbs and costing $1,300 comes with a year warranty, includes a carry rack and fenders for utility. Available in two fun colors including glossy black or red, comes stock with a cargo rack, chain guide and plastic fenders with mud flaps to keep you clean and dry. Seven speed Shimano Acera drivetrain paired with an extra wide chainring to offset the smaller wheels, feels natural, battery pack uses quality Samsung cells and fits inside the frame for protection and improved aesthetics. To keep the bike light and affordable the display is just a basic LED type without a speedometer, odometer or precise battery gauge, the pedals are basic, there's no suspension and the lights are not integrated.

Hi, which is the folding bike you rate the most?
-
These companies should create one of these bikes with a Solar Panel so the battery can charge just as well on a nice sunny day! What's taking them so Long to do this!!

Assuming that purpose of a folding bike is portability, interesting that it still weighs near 50 lbs, like a full sized ebike. So it's not lighter, just more store-able - or car trunk friendly?

To add to an existing mountain bike what would be my best choice for an and electric kit conversion should I go with a rear drive mid drive or front drive

Hi I'm really enjoying your videos! You mentioned that this model, like many other similar models, doesn't hold together when folded. You said that there are no clips, ties or magnets. I'm shopping around for a future replacement to my Brompton (which was stolen
in front of me!in London last month) and I'm hoping to go electric.
Best thing about the Brompton was the way it folds & holds together so securely, making it easy to carry on public transport or carry to a table in a busy cafe.
I would love to hear/watch any reviews of any commuter friendly bikes that you rate. Specifically bikes that are easiest to carry or transport. -
Good review, thanks.

What you call unfolding is actually folding

when did Mathew Santoro start reviewing EBs?
-
are you getting your sondors thins anytime soon ?

Great review! The shape of the battery makes it look like an ammo clip for a .50 caliber rife.

Hi when are the velomobile video coming out?
-
CrossCurrent review soon? :)

I would buy it if most the cables were hidden, way too much wire hanging out. Love everything else

I have an EG Oahu that I bought second hand and I just wanted to say that the owner of the company has been extremely helpful with some issues that I have had with the bike due to the previous owner's negligence and has given me extremely good customer service. He went way out of his way to make sure that my bike was up and running. I almost gave up on it until I spoke with him (at least 4 separate phone calls). Just wanted to give the guy props for going the extra mile

still expensive for such a basic folding bike it would sell for about $800 in Britain.
